Temple Lights

We took a stroll through Temple Square to view the beautiful Christmas lights. It was our kids first time seeing temple lights. It was a perfect way to celebrate the season of Christmas.

The kids spotted a Japanese nativity right away, called Kokeshi dolls. This made us feel right at home :).
Look who we also spotted.... Aunt Karen and Uncle Clayn! We almost did not recognize Uncle Clayn in his sweet FUR HAT!

"I love to see the temple...."

Love the temple lights. My girls have seen LA, but not SLC. Love the Kokeshi dolls. I didn't realize from the first pic, how big they were. Funny. Also, funny that THAT made you feel at home. I guess you're .... turning Japanese, I think you're turning Japanese. hee hee.

I have a few thoughts.......
LOVE THE Japanese nativity. AND I LOVE That it was placed on the temple grounds. I can hear people in my "Area" saying "Christ wasn't japanese. How disrespectful"..... Well ladies......it's on the Temple grounds. What's your argument now?
All I have to say is "Lighten up!" What an amazing trip!
