Thanksgiving Tokyo Style

Our kids never have Thanksgiving off from school (makes sense, but it still always feels wierd).  And this year, Glenn was away in Hong Kong and our favorite friends were out of town.  I was not about to spend all day cooking a traditional dinner just for me and my kids, especially when I heard the rumor that Roppongi's  Hard Rock Cafe was serving a "Thanksgiving Seto".  Done deal.

We bought festive Hard Rock shirts before our dinner
(we even bought one for Glenn)

Jonas opted for the Hotdog seto
(nice)

But the rest of us chose the "seto" with
turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, and cranberry sauce

It was untraditional but super fun...
The best part is that Jonas was so engrossed in the 1980's music videos, he gobbled everything on his plate without any reminders... now that was a bonus!

Happy Tokyo Thanksgiving

See, you're making new traditions. ha ha. This Thanksgiving, we didn't even eat turkey. I guess Lynn didn't feel like making the mess with the hard work. ha ha Great pics!
