I got a new crock pot for Christmas for a very good reason. After reading the
"Important Safeguards" manual that came with it, I have decided the list is missing a key instruction....
Warning: Placing your crock pot in your BICYCLE BASKET is a dangerous hazard, maybe even life threatening. It is possible for the cord to find its way to your wheel, get caught, then yanked out, and finally hit the side walk and smash into a million pieces.
It is true. It happened to me. Don't do it. It isn't pretty.

Hey only one reason I haven't commented on your blog......our computer CRASHED last week! Yep, worms, cookies, trojans, virus's.....the works, we had it ALL! And it finally went caputs! I was just checking old comments and realized I didn't comment on this. I could have sworn I did. Anyways. Great story! I think they should put that warning on the label. I wish I could have seen that. Just like the Haunted House episode, it's a picture you can think of always and make you laugh! Any bruises from this mishap? Love you! Thanks for the laugh!
This story is crazy! I am kind of a safety freak you know! I hope you weren't hurt! I'll be sure to make sure that my crock pot cord is always secure before I take it ANYWHERE on a bike! Thanks for the alert! =)
