Hoppy Easter!

We went to Kodomonokuni farm and spent a lot of time in the bunny pen. This bunny was adorable... she looked just like "mother cottontail" from Country Bunny and the Golden Shoes (my favorite children's book). What do Japanese bunnies eat? Well, they gave us little bags of BROKEN ICE CREAM CONES to feed them.... does this make them sweeter?
I love the Japanese signs showing you how to handle the bunnies the "right" way. Handling them the wrong way, makes them cry. Can you spot the blue teardrop?
Jonas was so concerned about the wrong way to handle them, he chose not to handle them at all... just gave them little "pets" while others held them.

Love some-bunny!

So cute! Your kids look so big and beautiful! Shailey looks so grown up. I can't believe she's going into YW this year. I know at the end, but she's just growing too fast. They all are. Darling bunnies!!

Jonas looks so dissapointed that he can't swing the bunny around by its ears.

I love the pictures of your kids with the bunnies. That poster depicting the wrong way to hold a bunny made me laugh! Who would hold a bunny by its ears like that? Well... maybe a lot of people have, hence the sign...
