Into the Woods

Glenn's Mom, Debbie, and her husband, David Wood came to visit us in Fall.  We had a super time and here are just a few of my favorite photos from their trip....

Glenn's work at Cook, Inc. in Yoyogi
(they might be giants)

Praying Mantis on our apartment wall

Monsoon Cafe in Azabu Juban

Tokyo Tower

Zozoji Buddhist Temple Garden

Figurines placed at the temple to represent a baby or child who has died.

Enjoying our Harajuku crepes... Debbie's face is priceless :)

Beatles Cavern, our favorite local joint

Asakusa Marketplace

Debbie's sister Kim Boynton and family who also live in Tokyo
(Glenn's Aunt... older by 1 month :)

And of course we had to KAROKE....
Both Glenn and his Mom love to sing
(you can't help it when you are born into the Von Trap Riggs Family Singers)

Shailey and her friend, Emma Swift

Hey Mr. Tambourine Man

I am not a big singer...blah...
but Glenn always makes me sing Belinda Carlisle and Blondie songs

David was reluctant to sing until we found some HARD ROCK songs...

And then watch out... he rocked the house,
AIR GUITAR and everything!

Kim and her boys came to Karoke too...
not really their thing but they were good sports :)

On our last day together we went to Narita
and ate Okonomiyaki (cabbage and egg pancake) yum!

Naritasan Shinshoji Temple and Gardens

Trying to be cheezy... unfortunately, its working.

The End of a great trip!
