Halloween Back in the USA

Bag it all... tired of blogging old stuff... time to move on mentally and physically....

We are HOME for HALLOWEEN!
This means:

1) Shailey can wear a Halloween outfit to school instead of a  uniform
(she is so cute, I can't stand it...  and not too old to be festive, even in front of her peers)

2) Glenn can do his famous DOT ROOM porch
He covers our porch in black tarp, adding a few black lights and white dots

Then he dresses in black and put dots on himself... NO ONE CAN SEE HIM!
So when the trick-or-treaters try to take more than one candy.... ZAP!

3) Halloween PUMPKINS do not cost $40 each (hooray)
3 for $10, I don't have to be chintzy, everyone gets a pumpkin!

(Shailey created a "JACK" jack-o-lantern to match her sweatshirt :)

4) We get to dress up as anything we want because
a) I have access to Joanns Fabric store and
b) Americans understand what your costume is

This year, the kids were THE CHIPMUNKS

ALVIN, SIMON, THEODORE

Happy Halloween!

I never realized how much Shailey looks like you, especially in that first picture. "Twiners"(say it real Louis-like).

Very impressed by Glenn's dot room. Fun that you can do those things and probably even better that it didn't take a gazillion trips and endless frustration finding the right materials!!!

Yeah I totally agree with Stew. Shailey looks so much like your teenage pics. Didn't I just see her? She looks even more beautiful & grown up than she did last month! crazy.
The dot room is AWESOME! I couldn't find Glenn at first. I really want to make it out for Halloween to enjoy that fun with you guys. The pumpkins al looked so great too.& Congrats on getting everyone on board for the Chipmunks. It turned out super cute.

I'm so glad you're posting recent stuff! SUPER fun! This is one the best holidays. Glenn's room is awesome- good work on that project. One day we'll get to go through with our 6 kids. The costumes look adorable! An wins for the easiest and yet very creative costume. But Dave and Miss Miller would have taken the cake (: Happy Halloween!
